Queen Victoria Night Markets

Incredible food – check! Variety of performers – check! Perfect 1st date night – check! The Queen Victoria night markets are back again showcasing over 60 stalls of food and drink. One of the best night out’s you can have on a shoestring budget, wander along the stalls travelling the variety of world cuisine on offer while enjoying street performances to blow your mind.

Taking a gastronomy tour you can start out munching down at Simply Spanish and then make your way to Moroccan Kitchen by MJR Tom and finish it up with a stop at Pavlova! Or if you want to just hit the desserts you can walk your way from snow delight to Churros Ole. Vegetarian and Vegan options are not to be missed with options from “That Arancini Guy” through to “That’s Amore” and “Nepal Dining Room”.

If you’re not looking to eat and shopping is on the agenda, the night market covers a broad range of shopping options with beautifully hand crafted felt items from Tara Treasures, stunning photography works from Intone Photography, handmade and limited edition jewellery by Silver by The Bay through to incredible oils and body scrubs by B’itch Body Oils.

If strictly entertainment is on the agenda there is something to get you moving on a warm summer night, Matt Doll is on at the E Shed Stage January 25, over at the Peel St Stage Byron St John is performing and Lady Hood is on the main Stage. Feb 1st sees The Twok’s perform on the E Shed Stage while Feb 8th sees the Hawian Supreme kick it off on the Peel St Stage.
